Indeed it is difficult to think that one wasted a lot of time studying, but at the end of the day, ALL that knowledge acquired while studying is going to give her an edge on whatever she decides to do with her life; I know because I went through the same thing during my young years. With time and the correct decisions she'll get ahead. The main thing is not to get pregnant and when she does, to do it with the right companion, someone who would help her accomplish more things in life, and together make a better team.
