In this spirit, the President of the Republic urged the Prime Minister to initiate the modernization of Daaras through four (4) major actions: the finalization of the national cartography of Daaras through an exhaustive census and administrative registration of establishments, learners and their teachers; the continuation of investments for the construction and equipment of public Daaras to standards by integrating, if necessary, boarding schools and school canteens, as well as support for the rehabilitation and improvement of the living environment of traditional Daaras installed on the territory national ; the reflection on an adapted mechanism for the recruitment of Koranic teachers and their supervisors in the public service, but also to ensure medical coverage, social protection, academic and professional monitoring of Daara learners; support for the socio-economic integration of learners, through national solidarity, in terms of financial support and support for foodstuffs, materials and agricultural inputs with the Daaras and through existing vocational training, financing and promotion of entrepreneurship. In this perspective, the Head of State has decided to establish an “International Grand Prix of the President of the Republic for the Recital of the Holy Quran” and a “National Day of Daaras”, every 28 November. The Head of State asked the Minister of Petroleum and Energy to accelerate the implementation of phase II of the solar street lamp program (concerning 115,000 units), the distribution of which must in particular comply with territorial equity criteria; the consolidation of the performance of the urban solid waste management system: by welcoming the significant efforts made by the State, the agents of the former UCG, the actors and concessionaires of the cleaning to improve the living environment of the populations and the management municipal solid waste. The President of the Republic has asked the Prime Minister and the Minister responsible for Public Hygiene to take all appropriate measures to strengthen the resources and means of intervention of the new National Company for the Integrated Management of Solid Urban Waste ( SONAGED SA) which takes over from UCG.
