speech delivered by Sheikh Abdul Rahman Sudais in Masjid An Nabawi

@theislamictreasures il y a 4 heures A short transcript of the beginning of the speech delivered by Sheikh Abdul Rahman Sudais in Masjid An Nabawi Peace be upon you, and the mercy and blessings of Allah. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions. As for what follows, O Muslim brothers, O visitors of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, we praise Allah, there is no deity except Him, and we thank Him. Glory be to Allah, and upon what He has bestowed upon us of His great blessings and immense favors. The greatest of these blessings is Islam, and the blessing of following the leader of mankind, peace and blessings be upon him. And there is no end to the Muslims' gratitude to Allah and His favors upon them. May He continue to provide care and generosity, and fulfill all services. All praise and thanks are due to Allah. He has placed it in the scales of deeds as reconciliation. O Muslim brothers, the Islamic nation continues to purify itself and blossom under the shadows of the days and nights of this noble month, the blessed month of Ramadan, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs of guidance and distinction. This is based on the affirmation of supplication. "And if My servants ask you about Me, indeed, I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided." Verily, it is the honor of the blessed time, the month of Ramadan, which Allah has designated for this nation unlike any other. There is a night of goodness, a night of goodness, a night of goodness worth a thousand months. Whoever experiences Ramadan with faith and seeking rewards will have their past sins forgiven. And those who believe and maintain faith will also have their sins pardoned. There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and following the Sunnah of the Prophet is essential. His example is exemplary for you in the teachings of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. For those who aspire to see Allah on the Day of Judgment and remember Him abundantly, how can a Muslim who loves the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, oppose his Sunnah while in his Mosque? Therefore, I urge you, my brothers, to feel the gravity of visiting the Mosque of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and to convey blessings upon him. This is a noble act, bringing goodness and enlightenment. It is incumbent upon Muslims to understand the significance of this sacred place. We must adhere to the etiquettes of the Mosque of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, as this strengthens our love for him. Indeed, those who send blessings upon the Messenger of Allah are tested by Allah, and those with steadfast hearts will be rewarded greatly. Therefore, the voices raised in the Mosque of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, are heard, and worshippers are granted the opportunity to offer spiritual and devoted worship to Allah. I have come to offer spiritual and devoted worship to Allah, seeking His pleasure and guidance in all forms of service, just as our brothers and sisters do. Allah has entrusted them with security, and we are thankful for their efforts.
